About Me

My photo
Jocelyn
I am a self proclaimed outdoor enthusiaste from a small town in Coastal BC. I work as a forester for a small consulting company that strives for innovative and creative harvesting practices and represents forward thinking First Nations groups. Most days I love my job, as it allows me to see things 95% of the population will never get a chance to. Some days when its hovering around zero and sleeting, and I'm freezing and soaking wet, it sucks,a nd I long for a cozy, warm, clean office, but the good days more than make up for the bad. My husband, Jordan and I, along with our new dog Kyra enjoy all things active and outdoors. In the summer we hike, bike, camp, canoe, and in the winter we snowshoe, and just recently tried skiing! Powell River has such an amazing backcountry with tons of things to do and see, and not enough people take advantage of this!!
